Pre-screening for parents and teachers
The pre-test is a short pre-screening tool a parent can take with their child at home — or a teacher can take with a student in the classroom — to see whether common signs of a learning issue (reading speed, sound discrimination, working memory, attention) are present. The flow is light, takes about ten to fifteen minutes, and is designed to feel like a structured conversation rather than an exam.
The output is a plain-language risk indicator and a clear next-step recommendation: if the indicator suggests possible difficulty, the report explains in everyday wording which area is worth a closer look and points the family toward a qualified diagnostician. If nothing concerning shows up, the report says so just as plainly. Either way, the result is meant to lower the cost of a first conversation.
The pre-test is not a diagnosis. It does not replace a full evaluation by a licensed diagnostician. Its job is only to flag whether a closer look is worth booking.
Kids practice mode
The practice mode is a child-facing surface where kids work through short cognitive and academic exercises — phonological awareness, working memory, reading fluency, simple maths — at a pace that fits their day. Each exercise is sized to a few minutes so it can land between schoolwork and play without feeling like another test.
The system tracks progress over time and surfaces it gently to the parent or teacher: where the child is improving, where things still feel hard, and where to go next. The tone is progress-oriented and quiet — no leaderboards, no streak shaming, no pressure to perform on demand.
